Happy New Year!

Before we celebrate the start of 2025—oh, how I love odd-numbered years—let’s close out 2024 with an apology from yours truly. I completely botched the pre-orders for Anton on the Zon, which meant many kind and wonderfully supportive readers lost their pre-orders of the latest book in the Colorado Crush Hockey series. First, I am so humbled that readers would want to order Anton. Second, I am so sorry for the delay because of the cancellation. For those of you who would like to read Anton—a very smexy, very bossy Russian goalie— you can order through the links below from Amazon to B&N, to Apple and others.

Anton has been a journey to get published for a variety of reasons, but I’m so glad to share his story. Many thanks to my beautiful editor, Bambi Sommers. She was so patient and supportive of me throughout the entire draft process. And I cannot write another word without saying how grateful I am for Jennifer Lazaris. From writing sprints to chapter reviews to sharing her expertise, Jen has been a bright light in my world. She’s also the author of my favorite hockey romance (Lucky Number). I’m the lucky one, Jen!

I have some exciting news headed into 2025. The fifth (and final!) book in the Colorado Crush Hockey series is in progress. Spoiler alert: Jax is my favorite character in this entire series. This book has been a kick to write. I’ll have more updates in the coming months.

In the meantime, please accept my sincere apology for the biff in the pre-order game. I appreciate you more than you know and would love to hear from you.

XOXO

Susan

P.S. Speaking of Bambi—an extraordinary author as well as an editor—she wrote Anton’s blurb:

Anton. (Sigh.) A tough, no-nonsense Russian hockey goalie who plays for the Colorado Crush. Muscles for days and a thick head of curly blonde hair. Chiseled jaw and a once broken nose which gives him an even sexier, tough-guy look. Top all that with a head for business and a Zen attitude and you’ll know why I sighed.

Anton lives with the best of everything, from designer clothes to business parties to galas. He’s slated to take over his family’s mining business after he’s done “playing” hockey.

Jillian is working at a coffee shop until she finishes grad school. She shops at thrift stores and wears “vintage” clothing. Her dream is to be an event planner. Like I said, stays in the background. The two meet after Jillian literally falls at Anton’s feet. He falls for her in a whole different way. But if this is going to work, she must be comfortable with his very upscale life…His very upscale parents…And his very beautiful fiancée?

A fun meet cute with a man, to his surprise, isn’t what he seems. And a woman who has taken care of herself for so long she’s uncomfortable with a man’s attentiveness.

Anton is a steamy, opposites attract hockey romance. He falls, she falls, and there are lots of sparks in between. This is the fourth book in the Colorado Crush hockey series. It’s a standalone book with no cheating and a hap-hap-happily-ever-after only a sexy Russian goalie can deliver.
