Welcoming Summer...and a New Series

We’re barreling toward summer, even though Colorado seems determined to give us a few more weeks of winter weather. Regardless, I’m ready for sunshine, barbecues, and quality time with the people I love.

Speaking of family, we’re hosting our annual family reunion at my parents’ house this summer. It’s one of my favorite weekends of the year. Cousins, aunts, and uncles flying in and driving from all over the country to catch up, play games, laugh way too loud, and just be together. There will definitely be plenty of wine flowing… and maybe a little sipping tequila. (The infamous Christopher Columbus tequila story will have to wait for another newsletter.)

My absolute favorite part is gathering in the kitchen with my cousin—who’s more like a sister—and the rest of the crew. We’re guided by Pops as we make “The Sauce,” a true labor of love that fills the house with incredible aromas and my heart with gratitude. There’s something so special about a big, loud, slightly chaotic family, and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of it.

I hope you have wonderful plans of your own this summer, whether it’s backyard barbecues, lake weekends, or simply soaking up beautiful weather with the people who matter most. Those connections are everything.

NEW SERIES ALERT

And speaking of family and really good Italian food… I’m thrilled to announce a brand-new series coming this November! Sauce and Sparks is the first in a collection of four steamy novellas featuring four sisters from a quirky, loving Italian family, mouthwatering food, and sports heroes who know how to turn up the heat. (All of my favorite things!)

The first book launches on November 17th. I would be absolutely thrilled if you pre-ordered and joined me in this fun, heartfelt, and spicy new world. Check out the overview below.

When Sunday sauce and sass collide, sparks fly.

Gia Rossi is fighting to save her Nonna’s beloved Italian restaurant with killer chicken parm and pure stubbornness. The last person she wants in her dining room is Luca Ricci: Denver Stallions star, golden boy, and the man who publicly trashed her Sunday sauce. One disastrous date leads to a viral blowout and a flood of bad reviews. Now, Luca’s agent has a deal: fake date to fix both their reputations. But pretending to fall for the enemy she’s secretly wanted for years? That might be the hottest, and most dangerous, recipe of all.
